apple and advertising
Does Apples really need marketing? or is it something similar to amazon and kind of an bezos-effect… that a marketing section isn’t necessary any more and apple can get rid of it, as amazon did? In the beginning I thought there is no need to talk about the iphone as you find articles about it everywhere and there’s such a hype around it, that I hear friends telling me, that they are looking forward for the iphone appearing in germany… wow… I am that kind of guy who only needs a phone to make a call; but fascinated by the idea of such an interesting item, I thought, yap, maybe I start to find some information on the iphone, that are not so commonly known.
First of all I discovered the lovely viral campaign for the iphone on movingweb, one of my sources bookmarked on my netvibes-news. So I wanted to share it with you. The related website will it blend isn’t that nice, but the spot is worth watching:

Another interesting thing I found during my 5 minute iphone hype is iphoney. So for all guys out there freaking out because of the iphone… check your websites, how they will appear in your new iphone.
